A SAMPLE REPORT

One of the ways to judge the quality and professionalism of the work done by a home inspector is to take a look at their inspection report. This report will help you understand how we present our home inspection findings. Keep in mind that no home is perfect. We generally come across items on the inspection that will either need your attention or something that the buyer or seller should to be aware of.

We’ll provide you with your own thorough report with easy to follow recommendations so that you can resolve any issues quickly and easily and make your most informed buying decision.

 

The Cardinal Home Property Inspection Report:

1. Includes high resolution color photos and is written in a narrative format -- it is not a checklist-style report.

2. Is comprehensive, objective and thorough with detailed recommendations for the property -- you won't need to take notes.

3. Is available in a downloadable .pdf format via secure link -- it will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of the inspection to facilitate the real estate contract negotiation and process.

4. Is easy to read, follow, and understand -- it includes a convenient summary of all significant deficiencies.

 

At the end of the inspection, we'll do a post-inspection walk-through to further explain our findings, recommendations, and to answer all of your questions.
 
The next business day after the inspection, you'll receive a copy of your report, which will summarize the inspection in a concise and easy-to-read format.  Components in the home are described, deficiencies are detailed, and recommendations are made.
